I'm Experimenting with Under-Used Traffic Exchange Features
Several traffic exchanges using the Ventrino script allow members to upload banners of various sizes, not just the standard 468x60 banner we're all so familiar with. I thought I'd see if I could use the banner exchange code here to display the banners I've loaded at Flawless Hits, but no, I can't. The code provided is javascript, and the Ning interface will not accept it. Boo hoo. The same is true for the code that displays text ads in an AdSense-like format.
But these are wonderful features that far too many members are overlooking. If you have your own hosted website, you should be using the banner exchange code and the text ad exchange code to earn lots more displays of your own advertising.Other exchanges that permit loading banners of various sizes and text ads and provide code for you to use on your websites are Traffic Troll and Online Business Traffic.

- Hi, Merry! (Let's not tell anyone it's an old picture! Ann Landers got by with using the same photo for 40 years, it seems; my choices were this one from my teaching years or the most recent passport pic, and the choice was obvious! I'll get a new one made someday...)
I look forward to good discussions on this network. I've used TEs for years and have currently been on a joining binge! I'm eager to hear other people's thoughts on various exchanges or the use of exchanges.
